The Sandy Fork Missionary Baptist Church was founded in 1874 in the Sandy Level Community now called
the Horn Church Community. The last two pastors serving at that location were Rev. O. B. Alston and Rev. W. Burgess.
The Sandy Fork Church moved to its present location in 1918. Rev. N. L. Horton was the pastor.
At that time Brothers Abram Deans, Peter Deans, and John Powell were serving as deacons and
Brother David Jones was the church clerk.
The following ministers served as pastors at our present location. Pastors: McNeil, George
Stokes, Marbly, Buck Edwards, C. E. Brown, Roger Brodie Sr., Frank Bullock Jr., Gregory Hailey, Thomas Richardson. Our present
pastor is Rev. Clarence J. LeMay.
Our Deacons Ministry presently consists of: Deacons Joseph I. Ricks, Charlie Howard, Russell Deans,

Our Deaconess Ministry consist of: Deaconess Annie E. Harris, Doretha Taybron, Rachel Deans, Lettie

their lives to Jesus.
